…While I was initially worried about the reliability of someone coming all the way to Wicklow – Fergus was right on time. He is not only very knowledgeable, but enjoyable to be with…. He made the trips fun and interesting. Don’t even consider wasting money on a rental car. Book a ride with Fergus. When I return – he will be the first one I call.

We were very pleased with our van ride with Fergus Lally to Connemara District and Kylemore Abbey. He is a wonderful host and tour guide. He was able to adjust our sightseeing itinerary to include some other stops and sights along the way to Kylemore Abbey from Galway. I only wish we had more time with Fergus and some of the sights in Western Ireland.

Fergus Lally is the best! We were lucky enough to be with him for the day as we toured Western Ireland and then drove across the country back to Dublin. Fergus is knowledgeable, professional, patient and incredibly kind. I can’t say enough good things about Fergus and Celtic Chauffer Services. I would recommend them without reservation.

We saw so many things and covered so much ground and Fergus knew about everything! He told us so much about every place we went (little anecdotes, names, dates and more) and made little stops at views we would never have seen if it wasn’t for him! Being a photographer I appreciated his insight and all the little out of the way places we went. He was so friendly and informative! A true gentleman and the perfect tour guide!

This is the second time I’ve been to Ireland, and Fergus took us to some amazing spots that you’ll never see taking a bus. You’d probably never see them driving on your own either. He was a great guide!! I would highly recommend it, and would say that if you really want to understand more about the country, definitely worth the money!!

[Fergus] took us to places that a tour bus wouldn’t be able to go and entertained us along the way with all kinds of information about the area. And chatted up my husband about The Quiet Man (one of his – my husband’s) favorite movies. He went above and beyond to procure a couple of pieces of peat for my husband’s fireplace as well. I would hire him again!

Tired of managing our schedule, we left up to Fergus to plan the day through Connemara with stops at Quiet Man Bridge, Ashford Castle, and Kylemore Abbey. He had a few “hidden gem locations” that he included in our travels as well! He was patient and kind and quite funny as well. The car was awesome – roomy and comfortable. Fergus, our day with you was the highlight of our trip! Thank you or sharing your wealth of knowledge about all that we saw. You made our Good Friday great! We will see you again!

Fergus picked 4 of us up at our Galway Hotel and we had a 6-hour tour of Connemara, Ashford Castle, and Kylemore Abbey. He was a delightful guide, knowledgeable and thoughtful. A great day!

Absolutely fantastic service from Celtic Chauffeur Services throughout my entire trip to Ireland- from being picked up at Dublin Airport and brought to Ashford Castle to a beautiful day being driven around the Burren/Cliff of Moher as well as our final trip back to Dublin Airport. Our driver Fergus, was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable as well as being a safe driver. His van was clean and comfortable to travel in – we didn’t even feel the journey time. I would highly recommend this service and will use it again!!

Fergus was incredibly kind, funny, personable and informative, and was a very safe driver to boot… Having a driver made our trip so much more enjoyable for us, and I can’t imagine being more pleased with anyone else but Fergus Lally. Fergus arrived at the beautiful Glenlo Abbey hotel to take us into the center of Galway. He was magical!!!! He gave us so much info on things to do and things to avoid.  We had a wonderful lunch based on his recommendation and wonderful Guinness at his favorite spots. All-round wonderful human being!!! To totally please four ladies is not an easy task. OUR Fergus did so seemingly without effort. He is a true emerald in Ireland. He was, without a doubt, the best way to connect with the REAL Ireland. I will gladly recommend him and the services to the many clients I come across in my job in the travel industry. His unselfishness with his time and knowledge, his heartwarming personality, his Irish GENTLE man spirit, was far more than we could have hoped for. He was perfection…
